Responsibilities
- Worked on a mineral management platform for managing mineral assets, maps, reports, and other related workflows.
- Migrated legacy AngularJS features to React, reducing frontend complexity and making development easier to maintain
- Improved Leaflet map responsiveness by removing unnecessary markers, layers, and rendering work.
- Built and improved Django APIs for reports and product workflows, including validation, filtering, and data handling.
- Moved custom audit logging toward database-level auditing for more consistent and reliable change tracking.
- Added and stabilized Cypress E2E tests to catch regressions across critical workflows and React migrations.
- Improved slow reports and database queries by identifying bottlenecks and adding targeted PostgreSQL indexes.
- Used Claude Code for the AngularJS-to-React migration to break larger migrations into tasks, tests, and review changes.
- Worked on CodeTest, improving the UI to simplify workflows, keep layouts and styling consistent, and provide a smoother user experience.
